Join us on April 20th for CRAPSHOOT

The Municipality’s Sustainable Communities Advisory Committee and Antigonish International Film Festival hope you can join us to recognize and discuss the importance of water in our local community and our global one.

Water is an invaluable life source, a resource we all have a responsibility in preserving.

Earth Day is coming, so a great time to continue investigating the importance of water in our community. Join us with the support of AIFF on Thursday April 20th, 2017 @ 7:00 pm.

Waste Water is a concern. Locally we have waste water treatment facilities and individual sewage treatment systems, but globally the majority of all wastewater from our homes, cities, businesses, industry and agriculture flows back to nature without being treated or reused – polluting along the way.

Reducing the amount of waste water we produce is vitally important, safely treating the waste water that is inevitable is equally important, it effects drinking water, bathing sources, our food, and entire ecosystems.
