Something new on Hwy 104—Community Identity Signs

community identity sign mca 15         CIS 2 mca 15

There are two new signs on our landscape as you enter the County on Highway 104. Installed on May 26, 2015, they were designed by WEUSTHEM Inc. of Halifax. Faten Alshazly, Chief Creative Officer, who worked on this design has recently become the first Nova Scotian to be named to Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Arts and Communication. The Top 100 Awards celebrate and highlight professional achievements of women across the country in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Congratulations and thank you to Faten, to Ashwin Kutty, President and CEO, and their team for their great work in capturing so many components of Antigonish County in the sign.

If you have any feedback on these signs that you’d like to share, please email clerk@antigonishcounty.ns.ca.
