Interest at  a rate of 6% per annum will be charged on all taxes outstanding after July 3th, 2015.

Low-Income Tax Exemption:
Under provisions of the Low-Income Tax Exemption Policy, ratepayers may be entitled to a tax exemption of up to $100, provided total income from the previous year, for all members of the same family residing in the same household does not exceed $20,000.00.  This exemption shall apply only to property of a ratepayer, occupied by him/her at his/her home.

The applicant requesting a low-income tax exemption shall be required to complete a Tax Exemption Form form and must provide their notice of assessment from last year’s income tax return as proof of income.

Payment Options:
Payment may be made in person, at the Municipal Administration Centre, 285 Beech Hill Road, using Cash, Interac, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Cheque or Money Order made payable to the Municipality of the County of Antigonish.

Payment may be made by mailing a Cheque, Post Dated Cheques or Money Order, made payable to the Municipality of the County of Antigonish, 285 Beech Hill Road, Antigonish NS B2G 0B4.

Payment may be made by telephone at 902-863-1117, using Visa, MasterCard or American Express.

Payment may be made at most financial institutions and ABM’s, or by using their Telephone Banking Service.  Contact your financial institution to see if this service is available.

Payment may be made through the following financial institutions’ internet (on-line) banking service, please allow 3-5 business days prior to due date for payments to be processed.  Click on the links below to access their online banking website:
