The Municipality of the County of Antigonish is a member of the Eastern District Planning Commission (EDPC). The Commission’s team of qualified professionals, including Building and Fire Inspectors, Development Officers and Planners, is available to support you through your building and development process.
Contact our Building staff before you start construction to discuss your project. They will advise you on the necessary permits and inspections required, as well as timelines. They will also advise you when your must obtain permits from other provincial bodies. An early conversation with Building staff can save you a lot of time and resources during the building process.
