Housing Accelerator Fund Coordinator

The Housing Accelerator Fund (HAF) Coordinator is responsible for increasing the housing stock in Antigonish by improving municipal by-laws, regulations and programs that influence housing development. This is a contract position with a three-year term.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement initiatives to enhance housing development in the municipality.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address housing challenges and opportunities.
  • Manage the Housing Accelerator Fund Contribution Agreement.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of housing initiatives.
  • Provide reports and recommendations to municipal council.

 PUBLIC WORKS ADMINISTRATOR

Reporting to the Director of Public Works, the Public Works Administrator will provide support to the Public Works Director and the Department. Duties include a variety of administrative functions, such as maintaining files, coordination of financial processes and billing for the Beech Hill Transfer Station. The Administrator will also assist with the preparation of provincial and regulatory reports and liaise with engineering firms, suppliers and other partners as required. The Administrator shall succeed by fulfilling their own responsibilities well and supporting the overall success of the team.
