INVITATION TO TENDER
Beech Hill Waterline & Sanitary Sewer Extensions
Sealed tenders plainly marked “Beech Hill Waterline & Sanitary Sewer Extensions, Beech Hill, Antigonish Co. Nova Scotia” will be received at the Office of the Municipality of the County of Antigonish at 285 Beech Hill Rd., Antigonish, NS B2G 0B4 (Phone: 902-863-1117) until 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 24, 2018.
The work under this project shall generally comprise but not necessarily be limited to provision of all labour, materials and equipment for this watermain and sanitary sewermain extension. Work included under this project consists of approximately 115 meters of watermain and 107 meters of sanitary sewermain, which includes two manholes, a hydrant, a water service and sanitary service, complete with valves and appurtenances.

Phone 902-625-3631 or the Office of the Municipality of the County of Antigonish at 285 Beech Hill Rd, Antigonish, NS B2G 0B4 Phone 902-863-1117 upon payment of a non-refundable fee in the form of a $30.00 cheque made payable to Strait Engineering Ltd.
Contract Documents may be examined at the Office of the Municipality of the County of Antigonish and Strait Engineering Limited.
Each tender must be accompanied by a certified cheque in the amount of 10% of the bid amount or a Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the bid amount and a Consent of Surety for the required fifty percent (50%) Performance Bond and fifty percent (50%) Labour and Materials Bond. In lieu of bonding the Municipality will accept a certified cheque in the amount of 10% of the bid amount as project securities.
The Municipality of the County of Antigonish reserves the right to reject any or all tenders, not necessarily accept the lowest tender, or to accept any tender which it may consider to be in the best interest of the Municipality. The Municipality also reserves the right to waive formality, informality or technicality in any tender.
